Master Classes

Master Class is typically 1.5-2 hours with question time available with the Tribe Leader after the class. The master class is intended to be a combination of primarily practice with also some theory. You will learn both the theory and by action (doing).

Workshops

There are two types of workshops normal 3hr Workshops and Day Workshops. Please click “Read More” the pull down for more information. Workshops involve theory, questioning, discovery learning, learn by doing and take away notes and practice. Please look at the 7 learning points for each workshop by clicking “Read more”.

In this workshop we will practice some yoga and look at how to practice for a lean body. We will look at the Science of Fat Loss. We will look at lifestyle and how it can improve lean health and happiness. We ill look at mind set, habits and motivation for change. This is a series of workshops that will add layer of layer of information, changes and practice for you to learn about your body, and how to find what works for your body type, and what blocks you in your mind from achieving lean health and happiness.

We will also look at the anatomy and physiology of how our bodies, absorb nutrients, energy from our food, use and store this energy. We will look at body shapes in relation to lean and yoga. We will look at how lifestyle is a the crucial change we need to make in out lives and how to make “Positive Habit Switches”.

Audience:All welcome, Yoga Students, Teachers

Preparation: Yoga mats and blocks will be available, please bring paper and pen. A dairy of two weeks movement and food/beverages consumed.Type: Interactive learning, talk, discussion, yoga class (45min).

Learning:

  • What does it mean to be health and the value of health vs illness?
  • All about fat: What is fat? Is it good or bad? How do become fat? Where does the fat go when we lose weight?
  • Nutrition for fat loss (sustainable lean)
  • Yoga for fat loss (sustainable lean)
  • Definition of happiness? What makes us happy?
  • Sadness cycle and effect on health.
  • How to create a lifestyle for health and happiness.

In this workshop we will learn the health benefits of chocolate, the history of chocolate, the health benefits of wine and the wine/chocolate partnership. We will also have a great yoga practice to prepare our bodies for digestion, with twists, and peristaltic movement flows. What more do we need to say entice you and your friends other than the two words “chocolate” and “wine”.

We will get  to enjoy yoga, wine and eat the chocolate we make!

We will learn how to make healthy chocolate and a variety of chocolates to suit all taste buds. We will learn how to make better food choices. We will learn about habit, and how to change poor habits for better ones. We will learn the difference between good and bad carbohydrates and the importance of good fats in our diets and ketosis.

Audience: All welcome, Non Yoga Participants, Yoga Students, Teachers

Preparation: Yoga mats will be available, please bring an appetite, paper and pen. Please inform your Tribe Leaders of any allergies you may have.

Type: Gentle yoga class, interactive learning, chocolate and wine tasting.

Learning:

  • Yoga for digestion
  • History of chocolate and wine.
  • How to make better food choices.
  • Difference between good and bad carbohydrates.
  • Difference between good and bad fat.
  • How to make healthy chocolate from raw ingredients.
  • How taste wine and chocolate and how our senses (eyes, touch, smell and tongue) are involved.
